Our engine air filter is going to filter the air coming right into our engine.Now, it's good to change this out regularly because we don't want our engine to work any harder than it has to. Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the PTC Custom Fit Engine Air Filter on our 2019 Nissan Frontier.Now making sure you check and change your air filter whenever it gets dirty is going to be an important thing. All the air coming into our engine is going to be going through the filter and if it gets dirty, it means it's going to get clogged up, which means we're going to be robbing our engine of the power and gas mileage that we should be getting. Not to mention over time, if particles do get through the filter and make its way all the way to the engine, it can cause a lot of damage.Now I know we've all been in those situations where we go to get our oil changed. We're at the service center and somebody comes up and tells us, "Oh hey, we're going to replace your filter." You know it's going to be this much. Now replacing your air filter is going to be a really easy thing. There's really no need to pay anybody to do it because it could be done in a matter of minutes. more
